About me
Hi friend! I’m Laura,
The Fourth Moon Doula.
My work weaves nourishment, rest, and ancestral care to help women step into motherhood feeling
held & resilient.

Before becoming a mother I spent years in the kitchen—as a baker, line cook, and sous chef. Now, I blend that love of nourishment with holistic, mother-centered care, supporting families through birth, postpartum, and the sacred work of becoming.
My heart is in helping mothers emerge from the fourth trimester feeling confident, supported, and rooted in themselves. I call this sacred work postpartum resilience.
I am the wife of Trevor, and mama to Tiger Lewis and Maple Ann Moon. Together we live at The Farm—a community known for its pioneering midwives and holistic approach to birth—which has given me a front-row seat to generations of mother-centered care and the power of true postpartum support.

Why 'The Fourth Moon'?
In many traditions, the first forty days after birth are considered the sacred window of healing, rest, and transformation, a “fourth trimester.” The name The Fourth Moon Doula honors this tender season, guided by the natural rhythm of the moon.
Just as the moon moves through phases before becoming full again, a mother journeys through her own quiet, powerful cycle after birth. My work is devoted to holding space during this fourth moon....offering nourishment, care, and gentle guidance as mothers find their strength and wholeness again.
